DIY Swirlerstein

    I ripped this parts list off of RC, when I get some more time I want to build a couple of these.

    4x4x2" Housing box

    120v AC 3-12rpm motor depending on how fast you want it to sweep

    Acrylic arms 1 motor mount
    1 motor to tie-rod arm
    1 down tube cam

    rc car tie-rod
    14g wire
    1/4" gromets
    3/4" pvc.. I used about 3 inches of this and for the down tube holder, I had to dremel it out a little, A 3/4" slip coupling would work also.

    1/2" pvc down tube.

    Bolts
    TOOLS:
    Razor knife (x-acto)
    Dremel
    superglue

    i've tried it a little. the hard part is getting the right motor. the motors i ended up with had a strait shaft instead of a geared shaft which made it hard to do, but it is easily done if you have the time and patience with a dremel.
