They're pretty easy, look around a find a simple design you like (with or without a refugium), make measurements to the 1/8th of an inch of the width of the tank, call a local glass shop and have them make you some 1/4th inch glass specified to your legnth and height (this is usually quite cheap $20-25), get some aquarium silicone, clean the binding surfaces with rubbing alcohol, frame nice lines on either side of glass with masking tape, put in partitions support floating partitions with used cereal boxes or something until silicone cures, pour in silicone and smooth with finger, remove support for any floating partitions after a few hours, and do any other partitions needed, remove tape after silicone is poured and cure for 3 days. Easy! lol

You are a bit far, but I will be taking my sump offline soon (I think it's a 60). I bought some nice 1/4 inch glass for the baffles when I added them. What all do you want in your sump? It can be as simple as a couple baffles, or more complex depending on what you are looking for.

this is about what mine looks like. all you need to do is get some glass cut to size and silicone them in. allowing enough room for back flow when you lose power.
told you i would give you a hand with you have the supplies.

It's easy with a capital no problem. I went to our local hardware store and had them cut me some pieces of window glass to serve as baffles. I went with 3 chambers and used 4 pieces of glass. You can make the sections any size you like to fit whatever equipment you have. I just held a piece in place and used some silicon and spread it along the joint. There are some videos on youtube showing how you can do it.

I personally wouldn't recommend window glass. Easy to get cut and it is a lot easier to break too. Just my two cents, but the local glass shop cut me 8 sheets of various sizes and it ended up being less than $10 more expenive than the window glass would have been.

yeah i think im going to have to do a baffless sump. the 30 long wont fit under my stand and my skimmer and pump is going to take up pretty much all my sump space it seems.
