   I'm not sure misty it would make it stick, usually when you add water to salt it make a slimmy booger. I think in order to make that work you have to mist it inside a baggie or something and then let it re-dry, i usually just stuff as much salt as i can where i want the hole, kinda works out. Making salt molds might be worth a shot.
