DiY LED light for biocube

    I will add that the Fan can with this 12" MakerLED kit, but powersuppy didn't. I had one laying around and used it. 12v AC/DC. I also use another better fan that I had laying around. The one that came with kit was fine, but not red like the one I had and it was a little faster so it was a double hit. lol

    Do they offer something to cover the wiring and a lens to put on the front to keep salt spray out of the unit?

    What size heat sink was that? Did I read it correctly when you stated you purchased everything for only $150?

    Makersled comes with all hardware you need. fan,led hold down screws and led plexi to cover leds and also end caps as in last picture. the lenses came with kit 80 degrees are what i got.

    12" and yes 150.00

    i got cheaper drivers and i bought the makerled heatsink, because i think they are the best out there and there made in iowa.

    Looks great! Do you have any pictures of your fixture installed over the tank?

    Ok here is the Led 12" with 16 3w over one end of my 40 breeder. Its laying right on top of tank so take it for what it is.

    Very good lighting I think! I am going to look at par tomorrow.
