    1. I already have some stray caulerpa that keeps popping up in my display(not sure that the tang doesn't nibble on it)
    2. I think my urchin ate the aptasia I had
    ...so I'm OK with that, I'll just be happy to put some in my empty fuge.:lol:

    Sorry if i missed it but when and where is this? Id like a bag (as i currently only have one fish, but am considering more) do i need to bring anything

    Right now we are looking at 32 or 33 bags of food. So we will likely be cutting the quantity back from the target of 80 bags. Food ingredients will be ordered on Monday. So today and tomorrow are your last chance to put in your request for bags, and be guaranteed that they will be available.

    I totally missed this string... Any chance there will be more than 32-33 bags made or option to swing by to see how to make DIY food. 1st year reefer

    Seafood and ingredients have been ordered. We will have around 50 bags. Currently 32-33 bags are spoken for. So we have @15 additional bags that are available. Post here if you are not currently on the list, but want to get added.

    The club has most of the tools and supplies needed for making DIY food. We have 2 food processors, colanders, digital scales, spatulas, cutting boards.....

    Two items we are needing are: 1) A few 1-2 gallon buckets, for thawing some of the seafood, and
    2) Sharp knives for cutting - PLEASE bring your knife!!!!

    Basically, we are about 1.5 miles west of Maffitt lake - very easy to find. One word of caution: don't let your GPS take you off on the Norwalk/Cumming exit off of I-35 as you will end up at a gated off gravel road. Very seldom happens but has happened to a couple of folks in the past.

    :joyful: Hats off to everyone involved for organizing, gathering ingredients & equipment and hosting this event and making the food! Was a great time and got some good food and Macro(thanks @Dave@Dave ) Can't wait for the next get together!

    Thanks everyone that showed up. Its was a good time, and with many hands the process went quickly. We made 50 bags of food plus a few half bags.

    @Dave@Dave - thanks for opening your home to the group and allowing us to smell up your kitchen for a couple hours!

    When all the pricing came in, we were happy to be able to drop the price per bag to $11 for attendees. We have a few bags left (6-9 bags), that we will sell to club members for $15/bag - also a drop from our original estimate. Send me a PM if you are interested.
