Disappointed with AquaCave

    i orderd from them on the 31st and recieved it today

    Oh! Yeah, that's a pretty good idea!
    Only thing I can see is that the reviews change over time.....ask someone 18 months ago what they thought of Icecap, and you would have a hard time finding any complaints.

    OMG! it gets worse! They call me back to tell me they dont have any more of my bulbs b/c they sold them all and that'll be another 2-3 weeks before they receive new stock... R U KIDDING ME? maybe if they had not waited a week to fix the problem i could have my new tank running... =(

    The first time I ordered from them they were great Shipped next Had it a day or two later. A few weeks ago I ordered from them didn't hear anything for a week. Called them up they shipped it with in 2 hours of calling. They gave some excuses for not shipping next day etc. I probably won't use them again until things turn around.

    I ordered that same weekend and I haven't even gotten a shipping notification yet.  :-(  I wish mine showed up today.

    They told me that if you need something right away, you should pay for the priority service and it will go out that day.  It's too bad that you have to pay for a premium service to get the same service other vendors give to everyone.
    That being said, they do have the cheapest shipping of any of the vendors that I'm aware of...but I would rather pay more shipping than deal with the runaround that I've been dealing with.

    A year ago, I would have given these guys a stellar review.  You're right...a lot can change in a year.

    You can search the forums by keyword:Subject and then modify how far back to search for posts and all posts are timestamped! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

    Still no update on the shipping from AquaCave...but I placed an order with Bulk Reef Supply around Noon, and by 3:30, I had my tracking number and estimated delivery time...
