    I’m only the Cedar Falls / Waterloo trustee. You can contact the Cedar Rapids trustee to ge the par meter for that region.

  4. No idea if this is the right thread or what, but I could really use the Par meter for a day or two if possible. How do I go about doing that?

    Yes - this is the correct thread. Currently @cameron lake@cameron lake has it - and is planning to return it I think on Sunday.

    The list then is
    @pwfish@pwfish
    @Chuckles@Chuckles

    We ask that people pick it up and return it in a week - so that others can use it.

    @Barrett@Barrett - I've got the par meter. I sent you a PM a couple days ago, but not sure if you received it. When would you like to come and get it?

  14. So I work at our local zoo here BPZ and would be interested in borrowing the par meter for a coral research project we are working on. How can I check it out?

    The par meter is available for checkout by club members. I will discuss with the board of directors about loaning it out to the zoo. Please provide additional details regarding the project: what is the project, when would you like to use the par meter, and for how long. Generally we loan the par meter out for a week.

    thank you for getting back to me. We are working on a coral restoration project where we are studying the speed at which different species of coral grow, spawning, and coloration due to a variety of diets.

    All our coral comes directly from a Florida research company and we, along with other zoos are helping out with the research.

    We are wanting to use the parameter to test our lighting in our coral holding trays as well as other exhibits at our zoo.

    Am generally in favor of loaning out equipment to education groups but think there need to be understandings on the terms of the loan. Coral trays should not take too long and are ok with me but want are the other exhibits? And how long? If the zoo needs them that seems to me to be a long term need for them.

  18. I would say a max of three days no longer than that.
