demonstration of live stream

    Shared Live Stream | Nest

    This will only be up for an hour before I take it down and password protect it. I figured out how to link actual video to the public without requiring a password. This is taken from the plug and play Nest Cam. You can control everything from your phone or a LAN PC. I am not kidding when I say it is plug and play. If you know your WIFI password than you will be up and running in less than 2 minutes. That includes the simplistic website account creation.

    Camera is now down. I will periodically put it back up. I am considering a tripod so that i can get closer without zooming in, allowing me to zoom in on the individual corals up close. Now it is mounted to my ceiling.

    @FFrost@FFrost don't put a space inbetween the / and the "me" and don't put the "/me" in quotes. Just /me followed by the text

    yup it did work. Sometimes you have to refresh the page to see it, but anyone else sees it properly the first time.

    EDIT: it doesn't work in Tapatalk. Neither does the Gallery code for inserting photos though.

    I know an RC user that set up a webcam on his tank and you could go to the link and control it for up to 30 minutes, he had pan & zoom, it was pretty cool. You could get in line for a turn to control it.

    That is awesome. I will have to look into compatable software for when my tank is grown out.
