I received a Blonde Tang last weds.  I have it in my 40 G breeder in QT.
I am starting to wonder if it was caught with cyanide.  I cant get it to eat at all.
    I have tried
    spirluna flakes
    garlic
    sea veggies sheet
    a live piece of ulva
a piece of LR with algae on it
some red macro algae I have
and some spirluna pellets with garlic.
I have yet to even see it peck at anything, let alone eat.
It sucks watching this thing starve to death.

How's he/she swimming? Look stressed? Heavy breathing?

    Worms? Bacterial infection?

Have you tried caulerpa in a veggie clip?

Where did you get him from? You should let others know so they be cautious of the supplier.

My problem is I can't feed my (fat)fish enough!
