Whats the easiest way to cultivate phytoplankton? I've heard of a few bottle tricks but I thought I'd ask.

Basically you need a fertilizer and air pump.

Also need a way to control ammonia. A couple drops of prime every day works good.

Depending on your need, another solution is to buy refrigerated algae to feed.

I grew it like mad just using clear 2 liter bottles. I bought a starter kit off line and went to work from there. If you could get a fresh cup or two from someone growing it locally that would be enough to seed your bottles.

    Thanks,
Are you still growing it? If so would you consider helping me start a bottle?
