Could someone post pics for me?

    I have some pics of my tanks but have no way to submit them (OK I don't know how) Could I send them to someone via email to have them posted?

    setup an acct at photo bucket and then copy and paste the image link to the forum post

    Like mentioned, set up a free photobucket account


    You then upload the pics you want to photobucket, creating appropriate folders if needed.  When you upload them, you have the option to re-size if you haven't already done so, I typically size to 800x600 although some of my pics I up @ 1024x768.  You can choose files individually or use the buk uploader which is pretty slick.
    Once the photo is uploaded and you click on it, you'll see this page:
    You're looking for the code off to the lower left:
    Email and IM - for sending a link via e-mail
    Direct link for - inserting pic into post, i.e. GIRS
    HTML Code - for web design or using the HTML option in GIRS post
    IMG Code - for inserting image into other types of forums, i.e. Reef Central
    To insert into GIRS, select the picture icon
    Click "yes" to allow scripted prompts
    Then paste the copied code from "direct link" into the pop-up box
    There are other tricks but this should get you started!
