    Idk if it's because this site isn't mobile friendly or because I have an iPhone or maybe it should be more simplified like Facebook and not have to do 25 steps to put a post on here. I thought I did edit it and apparently I didn't. The only thing I can edit are my tags.

    I'd love to post more on here but it's just not easy to.

    Thread tools at top of the thread is for the title, prefix, etc.

    At the bottom of the post is selection for editing the individual post. On mobile it is a drop-down button that looks like 3 stacked lines right next to the date / above the post ratings. Tap that and you get a controls drop down.

    Click edit, that will open up the Edit Post window and you will see the Gallery BBcode tags, just delete the tags and everything inbetween - the tags look like this:
    Code:
    [GALLLERY=media, ###] description of media/title/etc [/GALLERY]
    Save, done

    I understand what you are getting at but forums and facebook are completely different animals and they just don't work the same, in general. There is a lot of discussion about this within the forum admin community. Forums have a lot of advantages over most social media, and vice versa.

    Being used to FB and then coming to a forum, things are obviously different so there is going to be a learning curve, but once you understand how to navigate, it's pretty straight forward. Also there are people working on Xenforo-specific mobile apps. Right now, you can use the Tapatalk app - it basically strips out all the features and functions that are outside of the basic forum software structure, but some like it better than using a mobile browser

    I have an iPhone also...

    I used to be able to use girs on taptalk but since girs switched to this forum I can't. So I gave up on that. Which is one reason I haven't renewed my membership again.

    I use it every now and then.

    Addon - Notice - Tapatalk

    You have to delete GIRS off (your local app still associates with the old site) and then re-add it and log in. This needed to be done after you had reset your password in order to access your account on the new site, but you've obviously done that :)
