Ok, so i went to Adam's and matt's in cedar falls and waterloo today. I officially own some corals now. I got som zoas, frog spawn, and a red cap from adam and some striped green mushrooms, red mushrooms, green hair mushrooms, green ricordia, and some anthelia from matt. Also, Tim from bondurant came by and traded a tyree war coral, acan, and a lobo for my big foxface. It was a pretty good day, and I got to meet some good people with some very nice setups. Thanks alot everyone for the awesome corals, and the time to explain a few things.

Yeah it was. It started with having to put a new starter in my jeep first, so some of the money I could have used for more went there! But it was a good time, and my tank just seems so much more alve now. I see more in my future already!

this sounds like me when i first got started. i originally didnt want anything to do with corals and in this last couple months ive turned my tank into almost nothing but corals haha. i didnt do it all in one day like you tho! haha its pretty addictive though ill agree with that!

Well, there were just to many good deals to pass up! Ok though 2 questions I didn't ask, what's the best time to feed them (lights on or off) and how long to allow them to eat each time? Thanks!

typically you will see their feeding tenticals out at night. Now i may get beat up for this but, I dont feel that spot feeding is needed in most cases. IMO it can lend to other problems in your tank from over feeding adding phosphates to your tank. Myself i just broadcast feed my tank once a day and everything does fine. sure my coral will grow slower this way, but i also tend to keep other problems to a minimum.

Now by night you mean actual night or lights out with just enough light to see what's going on in the tank?
