Coral Haven

    Decided to spend the rainy afternoon taking a drive over to Bettendorf to check out Coral Haven. Great little store they have over there. It looks like Joe really spent some time on the planning of this store, and it shows. Very bright, and clean and well laid out for a small store. I love the coral tanks, all of them with different lighting, and the main display is awesome. The selection of corals were good, all differant kinds of softies, LPS, and SPS. Whatever suits your needs. The pricing was very fair. They have sizes and prices of frags and colonies to fit anyones budget. They were short on fish when I was there, but they have a nice set-up for those as well. Sounds like they hand pick the fish they bring in the store which means they should all be top quality and healthy.


    If you're in the area, or feel the need to take a trip on a rainy weekend you won't be disappointed with the store. Great to have another local store supporting our hobby and our club.

    I agree, I was visiting the QC's this weekend and picked up a coral. Everyone was very helpful and second the comments on variety and pricing. Worth a trip if you are visiting or live in the area.

    We love coral haven! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif we have been there many many times already! Our coral collection is getting bigger and better every time we go. Coral Haven is the only store we go to for our aquarium needs, from corals to dry goods they've got it all /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif Joe and Mike are very helpful and always make it a comfortable shopping experience! I'm sure we will be there again this week /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif so glad there is a new saltwater store in our area! I recommend Coral Haven to everyone I know.
