So, I have been reading about stray voltage and would like to check it. I do have a volt meter. But uncertain how to properly check.

i seat it to ac voltage. Then one probe goes in the ground of the outlet and one goes in the water right? It should be 0? How much is ok? What might it mean if I am registering voltage when in the ground and the air? If anyone has a good explanation, I would really appreciate it.

Just want to make sure my tanks are running right. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

    thanks!

do not ground to the outlet. ground to a solid ground.....like a piece of metal, a copper pipe, anything of that nature. also, crank your ac detection up past mV's so you aren't getting a "margin of error" reading
