Check this out crazy!

I got a fu man chu lionfish from craig's store saterday. I had him order it for me. Anyway it was delayed in shipping and took 48h. It looked a little stressed but not horrably so. I decided to take it home anyway. I got it home and aclamated it and added it to the tank. It drifted down to the bottum and went into the sunken ship in my tank. It just hung out in there for 2 days and never came out. I thought it was just takeing a while to get use to the tank. But then last night I noticed it was dead. I went to get something to fish it out with but when I got back to do this my angler was sitting there right beside it. Then to my horror the angler ate it! So i figgured it would kill the angler right away but it didn't. The angler was crazy fat but seemed fine and was moving around all day today. But then this evening I noticed he was dead to :-(
So i fished him out.

So what was the next logical step? Thats right disection.

How this fit in his stomac I don't know. I'm thinking that once he digested it far enough to get to the poison sacks at the base of the spines releasing the poison it killed him. Or it was just to fricking big. Eather way this sucks all around.

 

Yea I lerned my lesson on this one Andy. I wont be adding another angler. But I may set up a small 20g for one sometime. Shaun I don't think i'll be adding another fu man eather as I have my fuzzy dwarf lion.

 

you don't know the half of it! It stunk bad. So bad my wife could smell it in the kitchen a hour later and wasn't to happy with the smell
