    Wanting to put chaeto in my biocube. Do I put it in the middle chamber? Do I need to or what do I do for a light?

    Yes to middle, and scrap the black back off and throw a light back there.. Many ideas of lights if you google.
    I simple got a hang on light from home depot

    can it be scraped with fish in it? would i have to get a light if i scrape?

    Yea, the paint is on the out side... If you want cheato u need a light
