canister filters

    Due to canister filters not breaking the water should i worry about the amount of O in the water?

    My buddy runs a canister on his 40 b and cleans it weekly and has no issues with that said he is finally switching to a sump system after 4 years I think

    So do canister filters put oxygen in the water even though the intake and outtake are under the water?
