I currently have the PFO Solaris LED on my tank that have some of the LED lights burnt out. With all the talk about people building their own LED’s I was not sure if anyone knows someone that might be able to fix my current LED’s. That way I would not have to switch to AI LED’s.
    Thanks Matt

Hey Matt, As far as i remember, each led in the solaris can be changed out if you can find the right led. i know some people who used to have these units and they said it was a pain in the #$(% too get inside and rewire and solder everything. How many led's are burnt out?

Matt - Is it lights burnt out or banks of lights not working? I thought, for some reason that you had banks of lights that weren't working but admit that I didn't really pay that close of attention. It seems like the answer to your questions might be significantly different based on whether there were potential electrical issues with the entire unit versus just some bulbs that no longer worked. But, as I have already confessed to you, I am no LED expert nor am I an electrician...

Jon you are correct, it is not just some LED’s that are out it is the entire bank that are out. There are 6 banks of 5 lights each that are not working. So maybe I have more problems than just the LED’s not working? Does anyone know enough about wiring and LED's to help me fix my lights?
