I am currently running my calcium reactor chamber PH between 6.5 and 6.65. Does anyone think I would get more calcium production if I used a lowered PH range I.e. 6.4 - 6.55. Would a lower range cause my main tank's PH to drop much? Any thoughs would be appreciated. Thanks - Joe

I wouldnt focus so much on the ph range in the tank. I would focus on the ca and the alk, if you try chasing the ph in your tank your going to have a heck of a time setting the reactor. After you find the sweet spot for the ca and the alk your tank will balance to the ph it needs to be.

I would not drop the PH in the reactor lower then 6.4. As the PH drops below this it will turn your calcium pellets to mush.
I maybe wrong on this but I think the calcium manufactures may list a optimum ph setting on the packaging, not sure.
    hope this helps.
