Calcium and Alkalinity Demonstration August 21st **2:00**

Bulk Reef Supply, one of our longest and most loyal GIRS sponsors, has agreed to donate some of their Two Part Calcium and Alkalinity packages to demonstrate the ease and importance of maintaining calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium in our reef tanks.
We will be having a demonstration at my house in Cedar Falls where we can watch Bulk Reef Supply's video explaining everything about the kits they sell and the importance of using them. When the movie is over, we will mix up the solution, test my tank for the necessary parameters, show where to find the dosing instructions on Bulk Reef Supply's site, then we will show different ways to dose.
After the demonstration is over, there will be extra supply of this kit for everyone to take some home!
This demonstration will show everyone how easy it is to dose the necessary elements in their reef tank. This will be a wonderful time to meet our friendly trustees of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area of GIRS and learn how to maintain a healthy environment for our prized corals.
