I noticed today that my male Ocellaris clown has a bad eye - enlarged and cloudy. It wasn't that way a week ago. I was out of town all week, so I suppose somthing happened to him while I was gone. Any recommendations for treatment?

Sounds like it may be popeye....if so not sure it can be treated. Here is an article on it:

i once read a that a guy used a hypodermic needle and entered jut below the eye and would draw it back. sometimes he said it was nothing but gas, other times pus from an infection. he would then add a small amount of antibiotic in the infected area and put it back in quarantine for observation. needless to say he had a whole list of weird tricks

If it is popeye, the article indicates that if it's only in one eye, it was likely caused by some trauma and would likely heal on its own. It suggested 'not' removing the fish from the tank to prevent further stress and trauma.

I had an anthia that developed what I believe was popeye. I just kept feeding good foods and it went away in a couple days. I wouldn't try anything too crazy with treatment quite yet.

No, don't move it. :=0) Watch it for several days as it is probably due to an injury from a rock/coral or another fish. You might want to watch to see if a fish is harassing it.

Popeye is usually caused by trauma, scraping the eye on a rock, etc. Sometimes permanent vision loss occurs, but often it will heal and vision will be 100%. Crush a fresh garlic cove, place on a dish, add some good frozen food like Rod's and a squirt of saltwater from the tank, mash it up a little and let it all soak for about a half hour before you feed (remove the garlic clove before though). Will help prevent and cure any infection the fish may have and its cheap and effective.
