Building my sump

    Hello Everyone! Good to see the world didn't end! Any who I am starting to build my sump I am going to get supplies today I am having trouble trying to find a good DIY guide for a 20g sump  24" x 12" x 16"   really I just need to know how much room the refugium needs. I figure I understand the basics of building it pretty much build around my skimmer that will be 4" do I want just the bare min. for the return pump ? or does it need a certain amount of space ? Thanks again for all your help!

    Just so I don't have to make a new thread what are your thoughts on hard plumbing (PVC) vs soft (Tubing) ?

    im using a mix of both...you lose less head on tubing, because you can make your corners less sharp. just dont use clear tubing or algea will grow in them. or cover your clear tubing in something like tape
