Hi anyone have one of these? I just bought one and want to know a little more of what they are really like. I have read a while on them, but want the real lowdown.
Mine comes out when I am not around, but when I get to close it hides. Can't wait tell It gets over this stage. I bought it to replace my Sailfin tang. I really want a scopa tang to.
Got to link to see a picture of it on Liveaquaria. I can't get a picture of it yet.

I've had a tomini for about a year now and he is a cool looking fish. He is really good at eating algae off the glass and rocks. He was really shy at first but after about 2 months he really came around a started showing off more.

He is my most aggressive tang in my tank. He doesn't pick on any other tangs but any new fish (blenny, puffer etc) he chased alot at first. All in all he is my favorite tang besides the purple. I'm not sure about yours but mine has really dark orange on his fins that pops like crazy. I named him swoosh cuz he looks a nike running shoe haha. give him a couple months and he be out all the time. Good luck!

Thats where I seen it. Thanks Brandon. I think it a very cool tang and yes it looks just like the photo on LiveAquaria. I bought it Saturday so I am thinking it is just getting to know the tank. It looked like it came out to eat a little yesterday, but I never seen it really eat. It was just darting around to get to food.

Kyle, Did you try Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Flakes? I bought a Kole yellow eye tang.. hes a bristletooth. Think they prefer Algae but will eat some meaty foods too. Mine didnt really eat for over a week. He ate of the algae off the rocks tho. Hung sells F2.. thats where i got mine.
