   For Christmas I got a new Makita compound miter saw, so today I started on a new tank stand. Sure makes nice cuts. I will snap a few pics as I go, in case anyone wants to see how easy some of this diy stuff really is.

   I bought a miter saw a few weeks ago, and my stand was also the first project for the thing. Works great. Problem is now I don't have an excuse to not finish all the crown molding and trim in the kitchen.
