Biocube 29 media tray?

Has anyone used these?  i looking at setting up a 29 with LEDs and want to do a SPS and LPS tank.  I was thinking that these media trays would help with water quality.  Any input or maybe someone could post some pics of a biocube set up for SPS/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/tongue.gif

I have a 29 with the AI led's. I do mostly LPS, but have been getting into SPS here lately.
I have the InTank media tray. Currently I don't use it, because with the Tunez 9002 skimmer it dont fit that will. So I made a filter pad tray out of egg create that seems to be working great. Only problem is that I haft to change the filter pad daily. For other media, I use a MJ1200 to pump to a BRS reactor with GFO, and in the first chamber I use a CPR nano reactor for BioPellets.
Another thing that I have noticed, at least on my tank, it seems to do better when I do more water changes. I was doing 10g every other week, but have changed to 5g a week, then once a month I do 10 and clean out the filtration area. Also I have noticed that since I started running biopellets, most of my zoas have withered and died.  I can't completely say its because of the biopellets, but I believe it is.
Here is a link to my build thread showing what I have done with my biocube.

I know that there has been some other people on site that have done some nice biocubes, so hope they chime in.
If interested I could get some pic of the filtration on mine, might help give you get some ideas how you might do yours.

If you do decide to do the rockwall. Make sure you use pond foam. I used the Great Stuff expanding foam, and it took over 6 months for it to leach out completely. Also would recommend using a different apoxy, not sure which one caused the long cycle time. One idea I heard about was using aquarium silicone and brushing it on to foam to secure the sand to the foam, and that shouldn't have any leaching with it.

I've got my 29g setup pretty simply and works great.. I just removed the false bottom from chamber 2 and added some live rock on the bottom and some chaeto, then took that false bottom and put it on top and put filter pad on it.. I also removed the false bottom in chamber 1 to put that crappy skimmer and a heater in..

Also I have DIY LEDs and house sps and lps and they look awesome... They grow better under my LEDs then they do under my MH on a different tank... I'll see if I can get you a few pics if you want.

Ok going to get a 29 bio this weekend. Has anyone replace the pump to make more flow? i don't really like the look of the wavemakers in the tank.

I replaced my return pump with a MJ900. But in the rockwall I have 2 K2's on a wave maker that only run at night, and a MP10 that runs during the day. I did it that way so I don't have any dead areas of flow.

Your zoas were probably nutrient starved.  You could probably help that by using fewer biopellets.  Reduce the amount of food for the bacteria and you'll reduce the bacteria.  That's what I would try if I were you...
