I picked up a used 29 bio cube last weekend. There is alot of noise from the water dropping from first chamber to second. Is there suppose to be bio balls or a tray to break water noise? Thanks

Yes but what I did was took out the bioballs modified the back a little by cutting the wall of the first chamber and completely filled the back with water in chamber 2 I have my Skimmer pump, heater, temp and Ph probe

Just fill it until it doesn't make noise

There's no real way for it to over flow

Its the best way to run bio balls for clean purposes and best for oxygenation for bacteria.
