Stuart Bertram's reef aquarium is featured in the current issue of Coral
magazine (July/August 2011), but some photos did not make it into the
article. Here are some of those photos, enjoy!

The idea of bracing the side glass with cables is a little scary to me

I second the WOW! It makes me even more sad that I have to tear down my tank and move it since I have everything exactly where I want it... /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

pssshhht...... the tank of my dreams is still way better than that lol!!!
j/k! This is the tank of my dreams!!!! Except I gotta say, I'll probably never go over 400 gallons, I just don't think I could manage a system any larger than that. I mean, sure water param's and stuff, but then there's livestock to keep track of, I've lost more frags than I can remember! Although, I'm always improving my methods.
It's very interesting to see so many sps in this tank, but then on the right there are goniporas? That takes some real discipline in the feeding department (and subsequent nutrient export)
    Love all the anthias!

so basically the tank is rimless and the stainless steel is the bracing right? seems like a cool idea that would really cut back on light being blocked by glass bracing and be just as strong, wish i would have done this on my plywood build instead of eurobracing
