   Hey everyone,
   When I upgraded the forum last night, I accidentally turned on "auto subscriptions" which had the effect emails getting sent to everyone about posts that they probably were not subscribed to.
   So...   If you got some confusing post update notifications, then that was probably my fault.
   It should be fixed now, so please let me know if you continue to get notified about posts you are not subscribed to.

   I second that!!  For me personally, I am now able to add a smiley face without getting goobilty goop instead of a face!!
