Baby seahorses

Sorry I missed your thread the first time, I could have tried to help you out! I helped raise a lot of seahorses when I worked at the zoo and the best things that work are kreisel tanks. They're basically rounded tanks (10 gallon tanks or big goldfish bowls) that you slowly tumble the babies to keep the food past them. H. erectus hitch from day one, so while it's not necessary to provide hitches for them right away, it is beneficial, as they are usually found hitching at night in the tanks provided with hitches.

    I used to have a pair of H. kuda's for about a year and sold them before a move and recently decided to start up another seahorse tank. I'm setting up a breeding system in the basement laundry room to try to grow them out so I'm not surprised as most people are.
