YES stay away from them!! I bought a fixture oddysea mh from them last year. Within a month it shorted out. It was suppose to be covered under warranty so I sent it back. I paid 300 all they did was send 100 back saying 200 was shipping. Trust me on this one you get what you pay for. They are awful customer service.

Yep, I ordered a T5 light fixture and when it arrived 3 of the 4 bulbs were broken and a leg, so I called them, and talked for about 10 minutes and the only thing I caught from the lady that I couldnt understand was to send them a picture. So I did, got an email saying they would send me new bulbs and a new leg. Never came. They are a joke

 

Odysea is the cheapest of the cheap crap from china stay away from them.

I have had 3 of the T5 light fixtures and using one now. They have all been just fine for me. I would not hesitate to buy again. The only thing with lights is you have to replace bulbs after 3 months or less,but i save well over,200 on fixture. Even after buying new brand name bulbs for 80.00.

uvs suck. they are are a cheap knock off of hawaiin marine. very cheap and thin plastic case

 

I bought 3 lights from them (for non-reef tanks) and although they were great for a few months, they gradually all started crapping out. One still works some days. But most of the time I flip the switch the lights don't want to come on. I'm replacing it. It's probably a fire hazard anyway.

I'm also holding a grudge against them because on the last purchase I made, I bought an expensive item that came with free shipping and I added a 8.00 lightbulb to my order. After I stupidly paid without checking the breakout of charges I realized they charged me 12.00 shipping for a little 6" lightbulb!!! When I emailed them they blew me off and refused to credit me any of that. The light bulb was crammed in a box with the larger item too - not shipped separately.

I strongly dislike them. My 2cents.

 

its all cheap crap!!! you get what you pay for.

 

Just google all the negative crap on them. The lady that answers the phone was awful!!! It got to the point where they lied. You really get what you pay for from them! Nothing!!
