I'm thinking about re-doing my aquascaping - trying to 'hide' / 'conceal' my circulation pumps. Anyone got any ideas - or any online sites that might give me inspiration??

I'm getting emails from bulk reef supply - do you know them? They sell dry rock and supplies. I see they have a sale now on pukani dry rock.

I used aquaroche pillars in my tank. They are sold at aquarium speciality. Not cheap tho.

I'm looking for ideas/pics of how people have placed their circulation pumps - MP's, WP's, koralias..... such that they are partially hidden by the aquascaping/rockwork - and thus are less obtrusive to the look of the tank......

Your solution will likely be a trick of perspective. Obviously you can't surround you powerheads with rockwork, BUT you can put a rock feature between you and the powerhead when you are in the place you most often view from. You can place them in the back behind your rock formation which can be handy for eliminating dead spots, but the flow from there won't reach the open space of you tank as easily. You can have the flow of the powerhead directed into a tunnel or arch in the rockwork, from the back to the front for example. Should be a large opening to allow a 3-4" diameter stream of water to pass uninhibited.

Part of the issue I find is that I generally like to have the powerheads higher up in the tank than I have the rock. So how low in your tank have you placed your powerheads????
