I now have my new system up and running, no live stock.  I think I am having trouble adjusting my Aquac EV240 skimmer, I have it adjusted as the directions stated.  Will it take some time to produce skimmate?  or do I need some kind of a bio load (fish) to produce the skimmate?  Will the micro bubbles settle down over time?

brandon you will need to have a bio load first to produce skimate . aqua c are hard to adjust had a smaller one on my 125 and was constantly adjusting it.

Thanks... kind of what I was thinking... working on getting that bio-load in there - so far only managed to fool a clownfish into getting in the net and taking a look at the new tank. Hope to get a couple of my chromis in there if not I will go buy another fish or two next week and go from there.
