yea it wouldn't load my saved settings. It's a brand new APEX running the most recent firmware so idk. With some starting and restarting it finally straightened out and now I'm on line!!!!

 

anybody know where I can get 700mv quinhydrone calibration fluid for my ORP probe?

 

It comes calibrated. I have had it up and running for over a year with no problems. To be sure I checked it against 400mv calibration solution and it was close. It is not like I am worried about exact ORP values. Nobody can even really define ORP (and don't give me the long winded answer bc in the end it is very misunderstood...ha ha)

That being said, no I don't have any. You can get packets of the 400mv calibration stuff from BRS, but do NOT calibrate your probe using it.

 

Yeah i already tried to calibrate it with the 400mv solution and then it prompted me for the second solution. I thought it might be a one point calibration.....but it's not. so now my orp probe is broken. I'm going to talk with the reagents department up in the pathology lab where I work, I bet our chemist can help me out.

 

If you can actually get the quinhydrone, then I will buy some too.

 

ok cool, I know I can get it from a reference lab, but it is 45 bucks because they only sell it by the liter
