I agree with what you are saying AJ. I do. I get it. There are a lot of stupid people out there on that forum.

There are also a lot of issues where the resolution is *failure...send it in*. And a lot of issues where the thing just bricks or quits working then starts working or fails on a firmware update (sound familier?). If I was Curt at Neptune I would be going FREAKING NUTS responding to emails and returning calls and telnetting in to everyone systems. I give him props but I mean COME ON just get a product that works. He must have no life with all the email responding he does in the middle of the night and on the weekend. I know he has the best product out there but man oh man.

My iphone app for the product is 100 times better than the one offered AND is a thousand times more stable.

Also now I don't know the first thing about programming and YES I do have my programming figured out but what a PITA for someone like me. I know you might be laughing because we are talking about simple IF THEN commands but I need windows to fill in not commands to write.

Further....this network setup. Yeah if you know what you are doing no problem but I don't. I steal music on the internet (yes I admit it) using a bittoreent program called Transmission. It forwards my ports and opens my firewalls automatically for me. Is it too much to ask that maybe the apex did the same thing? I've dyndys and I have GMX'd and enabled and disabled. Can't a brother get a warning email once in awhile?

Tonight I am going to go home and drink a few beers and forward my damn ports, watch the Bulls and Blackhawks and add salt to my tank. Hopefully tomorrow I won't be hung over, the sports teams will have moved on to round 2, I will have a neat little status box like you at the bottom of the post, and my salinity will be back to 35 with no loss of crustaceans.

End Rant. Sorry but I feel better. Long live NEPTUNE.
