Anyone interested in one of these? I have been wanting to build one for awhile, so I pulled the trigger and ordered up the components. Since I'm a sucker for free shipping I got enough to make a couple extra boxes. If anyone wants to get together and build these things, or just buy one after I get everything all put together let me know.

Several of us have them already. We built them during one of the meetings in North Liberty a year or two ago.

Yeah, I remember that. I think that was right around the time I joined the club. I didn't have an Apex at that time and didn't attend the meeting. I figured there might be some new people with an Apex that might be interested.

Its basically an auxillary box you hook up to the apex that allows it to read switches and sensors. You can then program stuff based on the state of the switch. In my case I'm going to use it mostly for float switches for ATO and RO/DI water levels.
You can buy them pre-made from neptune, but you can make a much nicer unit yourself and customize it however you want.

LOL. I actually had one I got with an ACIII, but I sold it because I liked the DIY units better. A year later I am finally getting around to making it.
