Anyone have a heat gun?

I was intrigued by that DIY cone skimmer that was linked a few days back and had an "extra" sheet of acrylic sitting around that I would like to try my hand at building the cone (as it seems like the hardest part I figure I can at least practice with some scrap first). I don't have a heat gun and was reluctant to drop $40 just to try this (can't imagine I would need a heat gun for anything else... ever... LOL!) Was hoping I could borrow one if anyone had one local? Would only need it for maybe a day or so.

 

heat guns work AWESOME when you need to defrost your upright freezer....

 

Never had a non-self-defrosting freezer. Maybe I am spoiled? :/

 

I have one I think let me dig through my garage and see if I can find it

HAHA. Whatever works. I actually didn't expect many people to have one. I don't mind taking a drive.
