    Keep up the good work!
Take some more in a few months so we can see things as they grow out and fill in.

Your Duncans look really cool. Let me know if you ever frag it. Everything looks really nice. I love mandarins and your clowns look really cool too. I can't wait to see it in a year once everything has had some time to fill in.

The tank got moved yesterday - complete tear down, and set-up. It took us 9 solid hours to get it all done. I removed the sandbed with my shop vac - didn't replace it, going to try running barebottom. The 75 gallon sump has been replaced with a 30 gal. I have an 8 bulb T5 fixture coming on Tuesday to replace the halides because I need to cut back on heat in the new location. So far everything is looking ok! I'll try to snap some pictures in the next couple of days. :)

  14. Beautiful, as I said, those duncans are gorgeous.

New lights are up. Lots of corals have browned out pretty bad. Lots of things need to be changed around, cleaned up, but I took a bunch of pictures today, so here's a photo update...

Some of the corals are starting to color up more after the move. I've got some algae, but kind of expected it due to the move and removing the sand. Here's a few pictures from today.

I added a bluethroat trigger to the tank today. Hopefully he'll be a good reef citizen, and I won't regret the decision of adding him. The scopas tang and magnificent foxface aren't at all impressed with the new guy - hopefully they'll get over it shortly. I got a Tunze Nano Wavebox for my birthday, and I'm really happy with it so far! It's only been in there for a couple of days, so I can't really say with any certainty what effect it's had on the corals. Hopefully I'll have a chance to take a couple of pictures within the next few days! Everything is growing well, and continuing to color up since the move.

With the tank being in a minimally climate controlled room (no A/C, just a gas fireplace for heat), the T5's have proven to be a really good investment. The temp in the tank only got up to 80.5 (normally it's kept at 79) when it was 85 degrees outside the other day - that was just with the ceiling fan in the room running. I had the tank at a near constant 79 degrees for the first year, but now I'm slowly acclimating everything to a small daily temp swing in hopes that there will be less stress this summer. If temps do become a problem as the weather warms up more, I'll purchase a window air conditioner for the room. I have the windows open, or cracked most of the time, and for the first time since I started reefkeeping, my tank maintains pH between 8.2-8.4, and everything seems to be responding beautifully to the constant fresh air.

That's all for today - sorry for the boring text only update!

    Anna :)
