I'm REALLY sorry to have missed out !! I knew it would be awesome.

 

As promised here are some pictures from the event. I'm afraid to admit that pictures were not the primary objective this time, there was wayyyyyy too much going on for me to focus and hone my shots, and pop several hundred! lol #1 photography tip, take 500 shots, get 5 keepers! haha
Also, Craig I made you an AC&C album on my flickr page (I've edited privacy settings so that images will not turn up in search engine results, and they are not tagged, if you want them to be more openly public I will leave that to your discretion, let me know!) I'll keep adding to it each time I make a photo trip to see ya!
Matt Pedersen came to talk about captive bred fish, and the importance that hobbyists drive the demand for captive bred fish at a time when our hobby and the environment is facing many perils. Matt and I had an opportunity to talk after the meet and address some of the other specific quandaries facing the discipline, and his presentation really highlighted all the reasons that captive bred fish are the best source for livestock, and are increasingly important commodities.
We discussed embracing the Marine Breeding Initiative program as part of the club to improve breeder activity in our community, and set up merit based award systems and meets. With some help, I'm going to try to spearhead this motion for the club, and we'll be talking about it in the community soon.
We kept Craig and the guys busy all night, hopefully he made a few bucks this evening! I suppose there were about 20 of us there.

As usual, we spent a fair amount of time drooling into Craig's frag tanks (sorry if your skimmer went a little nuts man!)

I think AJ ended up picking up a piece of this, I really wish I would have! I may be coming to see you real soon guys!!!

Dude I hear ya I was totally rocked that night (most of it after I got home) Glad Elliot was there to drive! BTW Everybody shout out for Elliot for his projector (I keep it at my place, but he can borrow it any time he wants!!!) haha no seriously we're a force to be reckoned with when you consider all the junk we got between the two of us! haha
