Great info Sone!  I'll get numbers off my 400's and we can see about putting all this data into a spreadsheet.

JB, I am still running MH & T5 on my display. I am setting up a frag tank but I am still waiting on the tank so I have no experience with growth and coloration under LEDs.
Sone as soon as you know know more please let me know as I am seriously concidering for my display. Tha will be at least 6 months from now so you should know something my then.

I had the time and everything last night and couldn't seem to locate my Kill-a-watt. Hopefully soon.

Found it. Here's some additional info on bulb / ballast pairings

Ice Cap Electronic 400W Ballast / XM 20K SE Bulb - 420 watts
Ice Cap Electronic 400W Ballast / Coralvue Reeflux 14K Bulb - 400 watts
    Ice Cap 660 Ballast / 2 x UV Super Actinic 4' VHO - 168 watts

Also, I measured how much electricity my fans take and should calculate running them for the entire MH light cycle of 7 hours per day

Ice Cap 4" Variable speed fan - 9 watts (not sure if this varies as my temps go up or not)

Also, if any members in the CR area wants to borrow my Kill-a-watt to measure your electrical consumption, contact me.

Thanks for measuring it, AJ!  I know the payback on the LEDs will take a couple years but when looking at the annual cost, it is almost hard to ignore.

I'd have to add the cost of running a 7.2 amp chiller to that. I don't think it's come on once since switching over to LED's.
