Just wondering if anybody else is running the AI's over a 75G and what they have their lights set up for. I just got mine a few weeks ago, have it 14" above the tank and all the lights at 23% and theres still alot of unhappy corals, and i've even bleached and killed a few of them. One being a birdnest colony the size of a football. NOT HAPPY. I've tried calling AI but they dont ever answer. All the lights set at 23% is pretty dim, and if I cant get it more bright without killing more stuff Im afraid Ive made a costly mistake. Anyone got some input? Thanks!!

I have 2 over a 46 bowfront for a few months now.  I have them 15 inches above and I run them at 50% with no problems.  How many AI's are you running?

Have you used a par meter to check your settings? You may actually be way too low of light at 25%

No i dont have a par meter. After what gordo said I just put em up to 40% across the board and Im gonna try that. Is there any way you could do a par reading at 14" on a similar tank at your store Craig?

I will have to measure mine, but at about 10 inches under the water we run anywhere from 200-300, which is not horribly high. If I remember right 50% drops it under 100. I am pretty sure we are about 20 inches over the water though.

I bet you were only getting 80 par at that setting.

Start with 50% and see what happens. Cant be worse then you are having now.

I run mine around 65% and I'm only about 8 inches above the water in a 58 gallon tank. I think you're way too dim. My corals have done great, and I have a pink birds nest really high on my rockwork. It wasn't happy at 75%, but likes 65% just fine. I'm running two modules about 8 hours a day.
