advice needed for smaller tank set up

Hey Folks!  Just getting back into the saltwater world after a 10-15 yr break. Ok, now i have forgotten most everything i had Known and am looking for some advice, Help, or what ever you call it these days. I am looking to make a set up consisting of a 20 to 29 gal main tank with 2-3 10 gallon tanks for overflow,sump, misc critters and so on. Basically i am in need of some lessons on tank set up, lighting and so on. I am looking to get in for a small investment although i know you cant skip on certain things.
