After purchasing a blueberry gorgonian at the Spring Fest, I have noticed that it is starting to not look so good. Has anyone successfully grown these? If so, what advice can you offer so that I can be successful in growing this soft coral? It's been difficult to find on other forums because one person is usually contradicting another. So, for those that have had success, do they like high flow or low flow? Types of food to feed? How often? Lighting? Since they are not photosynthetic, correct me if I am wrong, I don't think lighting is necessary, but it never hurts to ask /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif Any thing else I should know?

High flow and microscopic foods. Oyster feast, live BBS, etc. Will need lots of feedings to do well.

I just recently picked one up also. I bought Azox coral food, and I also have Cyclopeeze and Rod's Reef food that I alternate. I put it high up in the tank where it receives good flow and is off to the side where it's not directly under the brightest light. So far so good, but I haven't had it long, so I'm not speaking from experience here, just what I'm trying. It's looking happy and feeding well from what I'm seeing so far.

My research came up with the same result, so I gathered as much info as I could to take care of it the best I can. I bought it knowing that chances were slim I could keep it alive, but I figured I'd have as good of a shot as anyone with some reading up, so for $10, I was willing to take the risk. Plus, it makes me feel like a rebel. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/tongue.gif

I didn't see them at frag fest... I picked mine up in Chicago.

Thank you for the input everyone! I will try spot feeding with microscopic food and leaving it in a high flow area but without intense light. Hopefully being a rebel too pays off /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif

I hope it makes it cause I would love to have one someday in my nps tank but I'm going to wait until somebody has success with one
