So picked up a frag tank a few weeks ago. Dimensions are 20"x16"x8" and made from 3/8" acrylic.  It has an external box style overflow.  Just a little guy but I do not plan on making a business out of this.
I am going to plumb this in with the 40 breeder that way I can help get my water volume up and put that skimmer to work.  I built a wooden stand to raise this just high enough to make the plumbing easier on me.
Anyway here are some low quality camera phone shots.  I will charge the batteries for the camera one of these days.

The lighting is here but I plan on keeping that a secret until it is all setup.  I am going a different route with lighting this time around.

Nice tank... I like the water related background you chose. Better than the black and blue colors :)

A quick shot. Not completely done. Going to paint the pvc support and I ran out of 1" pvc so I could not run it all around the base. That is why I have the wierd deal going on in the front of the stand. Then need to add another rack and paint all the eggcrate.

Ok got the real camera out and some more pictures.  If you know anything about LED's the colors are hard to capture.  Wish I could capture the shimmering these LED's give off.  Now I just need a par meter to test.
A whole setup shot.  Far from done but atleast I got it mocked up finally!

Top down shot.  As you can see having trouble capturing true color.  It is no where near this blue in real life.

    This shot is pretty accurate

Thanks B-rad! Ya I am pretty excited to see how the LED lighting goes. Figured I could test it out and then let the club know how it goes. The one thing I am loving so far is the shimmering affect you get from them.

Did you have to buy the fixture in addition to the LED lamp? Can I get some guidance on this? I too am putting together a small frag tank and am contemplating lighting options.

Cool. Thanks for the information. So from what I am seeing/reading I can use basically any open fixture I want that will accept the bulb? If so, that is great.

Also, do you think you need both lamps? Or would one of the lamps work for your small tank?

Finally, do you think I could not use the track and just wire an extension cord to the fixture and use the cord to hang the fixture and lamp? I bet you can.....
