Does anybody in the Des Moines area know where I can buy quality sheets of acrylic? I'd like to build my own top off reservoir and a couple other things for the tank.

Home Depot has the thicker sheets

    I buy mine at Regal.

How are you going to cut them? Cutting full sheets is a real PIA.

How big of pieces do you want/need? I have a ton of scrap, the local regal here in Wloo sells scrap by the lb, so I load up every time I go in.

I have a ton of scrap, misc sizes and thicknesses. Don't buy Home Depot stuff it's all extruded or lexan. Regal is $$

For baffles just about anything is ok. For making a sump or tank (pressure vessel) you have to get more specific
