Just looked in my tank and both of these are half bleached. What is going on here? I know my nitrates are up since I fed but since I witched to Ais I cant do good with sps. Is it time to go back to t5s? I'm about to upgrade to a 220. I run them at 40 % is all. Zoas are doing great.

I suppose it could be a lot of things, but if the lights are new, I'd back them down to 25% and cut the hours down to about half of what you're doing now. Could be the nitrates too though.

Check your alk and your phos levels. in my opinion those are the two most important parameters when keeping corals

    40%

    I run mine at 80%

But yeah, the first thing I would check is nit, alk, phos.

My nitrates just spiked upto 40 but we were thinking because of the corals bleaching and dying off. Phosphates are ok and I havent checked alk.
