well for starters I would seriously double check your stocking list and do some research. sps are tricky and require a lot of flow I am also delving into these and ill tell ya they are picky.
Now on to your fish list. leopard wrasse are expert only fish and unless you know what your doing i would pass. lunare wrasse get pretty large and will rip apart your inverts, not reef safe at all. hawkfish are iffy at best for the reef. you can do a tang, just need to be very selective on what you get, for example I wouldnt get one that doesnt get over 8 inchs, in a tank our size it shouldnt get much bigger then 6 and really should be put into a more mature tank.
My suggestion for fish would be flasher and fairy type wrasse, totally reef safe and for the most part peaceful, I love them and have a total of 6 wrasse in my tank along with a royal gramma 2 spot hogfish a a pair of firefish and a yellow eye kole tang.

I have never had a problem with flame hawks or long nosed hawks. Very reef friendly in my experience. They do perch in corals, but they don't cause any harm to them.

I've never had them go after crabs and snails, but they'll eat a shrimp in a heartbeat. SO if you want shrimp, don't get a hawk.

thanks for the ideas mt. i am open to suggestions on the return pumps. i also didnt mention that i plan to use a mag9.5 on a scwd and a mag 7 or a mag 12 on a scwd and a mag 9. not sure but either route i could always add a powerhead to bring the current up. honestly it will probably be awhile befor i get into sps. but i would like to have a good mixed reef tank in the end with a nice assortment of fish.

also what do you think of the hood i am going to pick up? i know the pc in the hood wont do much other than give it some color but i figure a minimum 250w halogen was needed for this tank. or should i hold out. the previous owner is giving me a good deal. 300cash

I use a mag 9.5 for a return and have to throttle it down a little. My flow consist of 2x mp40 but i ran with one till just recently and everything did just fine. thats pretty much all I have for pumps other then what i use for my ato and carbon gfo reactor.

those lights will be just fine. the thing i do not like about them is you have 3 cords. what I just recently got is http://www.marineandreef.com/Marineland_Marine_Series_Pro_Lighting_Metal_Halide_s/581.htm

the 48 inch ones. 1 cord and a timer built in that controls all the lights.

i do have two more dual 96w pc ballasts i picked up a few years ago and never used i could always add i have sockets lamps all new. when i set up my 20g i had planned to go bigger but never got the chance til now. at that time i was slowly buying things i thought i could build into a larger reef. that is when i got the euro reef skimmer acouple mag pumps scwd. nowadays pc are almost obsoleet. its a good thing there are plenty of bulbs still around. i am going to use these ballast even if i have to put them over my 20. haha.
