90gal build thread.

    got a 30gal long from bluefool , was going to use it for a sump but after 20 minutes of trying to get it under the cabinet, it isnt going to work so i have a qt tank now, which is something i need regardless. going to go with a 20 long for the sump i probably wont baffle this unless someone can give me a reason why it is imperative.

    I like at least one glass divider to keep the water level at the same height. Otherwise the fluctuating water level interferes with skimmer production.

    picked up what im hoping is the last of the plumbing and mp40. tomorrow after work i will start the tear down and build.

    i had the same problem with the water height in my sump messing with my skimmer i took a three inch piece of pvc pipe cut to the desired hieght and put the skimmer discharge hose into the pvc pipe and have no longer had to adjust the skimmer bc the water height never changes in the pvc pipe

    So here is what i will be setting up in the next week.
    90gal RR tank with 30gal long sump< this is being baffled> and all the plumbing.

    mag 9.5 return.
    mp40
    current MH light fixture with 2 150 watt 14k SE halides.
    50 lbs of LR < I plan on adding more but out of money atm>

    future adds are.

    ATO, this priority.
    phos reactor.
    8bulb t5 light.
    dosing pump.

    Iam hoping to have this online by next weekend I will post pics as soon as i figure out what my daughter did with the camera.

    OK, tank is put together and holding water. Ill take pics tomorrow.

    Well I know I promised pictures but, I found out today my little princess took that camera too the pool and left it in her wet bag. I guess yall will just have to come over and take a peek. I'll find one to borrow in a few days.
