Dude, you need to sell some frags and get a new camera!

Does your current camera have an option to adjust the white balance? That might help make your pics not look so blue.

    Your tank looks great!

I don't know if it dose or not but probably dose. I just don't know how to do it. I need to read the instructions for it. When I first got it I skimmed through them and dude there are a million different things you can adjust and I got lost quick. Part of the problem is the new 20k bulbs make the pics look way bluer that it looks in person. I'll quit being lazy and read the instructions sometime. Anyway thanks for the complements guys! I love the way this tank is comeing together.

Thanks for the motivation Waverz! I just read through the manual and figured out how to adjust the exposer and white balance and it looks much better.

Those do look better. A cheap $10 tripod would help with the blur.

What camera do you have anyway?

Thanks for the tip I think i'll grab a tripod sometime. I know vertualy nothing when it comes to photography. The camera is a Olympus Stylus tough 6000 it was $250 at best buy so it's not a cheap pice of crap or anything. I was just trying to blame the camera for my lack of knowlege LOL.

Check this sight out if your interested in learning a little about photography.

The cool part about it is specifically for taking pictures of fish tanks. It worked wonders for my photography.

    Looks good Bill!
Always nice to compare pics over time as sometimes I don't realize how much things have actually grown.
You signature indicates Hamilton Metal Halides only - do you run actinics or just the MH's?

Thanks Eric. I need to update my signature as I am now running XM 20k 250w And yes I have 2 54w t5 actinics. I don't realy need the actinics with the 20k bulbs but I liketo run them a couple hours before the halides come on and a couple after. That way I get more viewing time as my halides are only on for 5 hours.

So were the last pics (heavy blue) taken with just the T5's on?
