"help" safe silicone to use in a tank ?

    what type of silicone is safe to use in a tank ?
     is GE Silicone II* clear, Premium waterproof Silicone, kitchen/bath/plumbing, 100% silicone. it has a red label on it
    If not what has everyone else used ?

    AGA Silicone.

    I have extra tubes for $10.00 + shipping unless you want to come pick some up.

    rtv-108 from grainger is what all the do it yourselfers on reef central recomend if your in the des moines area i will sell you a tube for $10

    Even though there's a ton of stuff that says 100% silicone, they still add stuff to maintain flexibility, inhibit mold growth, color, etc. Personally, I only use the stuff from the aquarium manufacturers, just to be 200% safe.

    It's not that much more money and the peace of mind is worth it.

    i just go to lowes and get the aquarium caulk then you no its safe if you cant find it ask because its not with the other caulk
